If you attend the 2 hour baby and child first aid class, this class is informal so you will not be required to take part in any of the practical aspects if you do not wish to. However, you will be required to perform and will be assessed on all practical aspects on regulated qualification courses. These requirements will vary from course to course depending on the qualification. For more information, click the 'qualification' links on the 'services' page. Failure of successful demonstration of practical assessments when attending a qualification course, will lead to no qualification being issued due to not being competent in the subject. In this instance it is possible that an alternative qualification may be offered to the learner.
Can I bring my baby to the class?
Pre-crawling babies are very welcome to come along to the informal 2 Hour Baby and Child First Aid classes. The class is very baby friendly so you will be free to attend to all of your babies needs throughout the class. Unfortunately, if you attend a qualification course, children will not be permitted to attend these courses.
