Mum of 3 Natalie Kay has 18 years of first aid training experience for babies, children and adults from her job as airline cabin crew. She qualified as a first aid instructor and started up 1st Steps First Aid in 2017 after realising that people who look after children on a day to day basis don't necessarily have the knowledge of baby and child first aid, to be able to deal with a medical emergency. She wanted to be able to give people the knowledge, skills and confidence if ever faced with life’s little emergencies. As parents, we all want to be able to protect our children the best we can. Hopefully no one will ever be faced with having to deal with a situation like this, but 1st Steps First Aid feels it is essential for all parents, family members and anyone that looks after children to learn paediatric first aid so you are prepared just in case the unexpected ever happens. 1st Steps First Aid is a small independent company offering a range of fun, interactive courses including informal 2 hour baby and child first aid classes, Level 3 paediatric and adult first aid qualification courses and first aid classes for children. Based in Castleford, but covering the rest of the Yorkshire area. Public and private group bookings are available.
